Tamika is an award-winning counselor, consultant, author and yoga educator. She is certified as an advanced level Yoga Instructor and Registered as a professional counselor. Tamika has studied and taught the art of personal renewal throughout North America and also in Costa Rica, India, Mexico, Hawaii, Australia and Indonesia. An experienced group facilitator, Tamika has led wellness retreats across the globe since 2001. Tamika co-created and co-directs the 100-hr HeartRise® Children's Yoga Teacher Training professional program.  She is the Director of the first Canadian Nosara Yoga Institute 200hr Interdisciplinary Teacher Training and continues to direct trainings both in North America and in Costa Rica.  Tamika's classes offer a creative blend of approaches from different parts of the world, and have been described as joyful, intuitive, and inspirational.
